The D12000 crankcase gasket seals the engine halves — mandatory replacement during any bottom-end service. D12000i Crankcase Gasket - RATO (Part# YC.DZ.GR000038) seals the crankcase mating surface on the D12000iE Generator, containing oil and maintaining crankcase pressure during engine operation.
This gasket is destroyed during every crankcase split. Never reuse a compressed crankcase gasket — the seal will fail. Dealers performing bottom-end D12000 work need this on hand. Compatible with the D12000 Generator.
